- Collapsed Shock Springs - Place your UTV on a flat surface and check to see if your springs are compressed touching coils or close to it. This typically means your helper spring is worn and could use a replacement (see before and after image above)
- Oil leaks - If you see any type of oil or build up coming from your shock seal head, reservoirs, or caps there is a high probability your shocks are leaking. Send us a photo and we can help you confirm. A small amount of very light dust is sometimes ok.
- Low or No Nitrogen - Unfortunately you will need a special tool for this but you can remove your shocks and bring it to us and will check your nitrogen at no charge.
- Low Ride Height - UTV's have an optimal ride height. Some measure off of axle angle. Some ground to the bottom of the car. To do a quick visual check look at the angle of your axles. If they are close to level with the ground your car is most likely sitting too low. The most common case of low ride height is collapsed springs or low nitrogen.

- 2.0 Shock body - $150
- 2.5 / 3.0 Shock body - $200
Service intervals vary based on riding environment, care, and driving style. In harsh, dirty, or racing conditions, shocks should be serviced more frequently, while casual use in cleaner terrain allows for longer intervals. Regular inspection ensures optimal performance and prevents costly damage.
- Aggressive / Racing Use: Service every 1,000–1,500 miles in rough or dirty environments.
- Casual / Recreational Use: Service every 2,000–3,500 miles in cleaner conditions.
- Helper / Tender Springs: OEM helper springs wear out faster — if the top spring’s coils are touching, it needs replacement. A collapsed spring can cause low ride height, bottoming out, or even spring failure over time.
