Performance Upgrades

All Powersports engine produce a significant amount of power, with a very small engine. Some of these engines will producde double the power with half the cc of a standard car engine. How does this happen? Special materials, high RPM (Revolutions Per Minute), and a design built with the main focus of horsepower. Next time you are driving your car look down at your RPM gauge and you will probably be somewhere around 2,000 to 4,000 RPM. If you have an RPM gague on your UTV, ATV, Dirt Bike, or PWC you would see numbers typically between 4,000 to 13,000. This means your enigne is rotating up to 6 times fasterthan a standard engine. Ulimately this means wear is going to happen faster. Add in some water or dirt getting inside the engine when its not supposed to and this makes for a very bad combination and can cause premature engine failures.

• Keep Dirt Out Of Your Engine
• When dirt get in your enigne is like scrubbing the inside of your engine with sand paper. Keep your air fitler clean  and make sure it is secured properly. If you wash your filter you dont alwasy get all the dirt and grim out, throw it away if you need to
• Change Your Oil
• Changing your oil helps pull out debris that is inside your engine. Though small engines create debris. Weather its carbon, gear wear, clutch wear (internal clutches) or some dirt got passed the filter. cahnging your oil can remove these from the inside of your enigne. Dont forget the oil filter.
• Read Your Service Manual
• Your service manual will tell you how often items on your vehicle need to be checked or changed.  Though some hour/mileage numbers we dont agree with it is a good place to start. • Have a Pre Ride Procedure
• Before every ride do a quick vitals check and make sure your fluids are at the proper levels. Engines burn oil, your previous ride could have been worse conditons than normal etc. Do a quick check. Ask us for our pre ride check list. They are free!
